Im looking for a Senior Channel Head with a FMCG background.

- The candidate that will be put forward for this position will need to have previouse experience of leading and directing a national accounts team. Ensuring that they deliver results and hight performance.

Paying up to £65k - Depending on background and experience.

Car allowance £8000 or company car

Bonus at 17.5%

Role Profile

My Client are looking for a senior sales leader who has the capability to do a large and complex job and the drive to want the next promotion. The purpose of the role is to grow our reputation with the customer further, lead a highly engaged team of people and deliver more than your budget profit target

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

- Lead, direct and motivate the national account sales team and a matrix team to deliver results and high performance
- Development and ownership of business plan from agreed sales strategies and tools that is translated and executed for the sector to deliver results in line with targets.
- Manage, develop and coach team to ensure role model behaviour and best practices are embedded in sector team
- Develop strong relationships both internally and externally
- Drives a customer focused team to deliver a strategy that allows their customers to succeed and develops a relationship based on trust
- Run established meetings with team in order to drive agreed execution of sales strategy and alignment with sales vision.
- Drives and embeds leadership behaviours to deliver positive engagement scores for team.
- Generates sales growth through targeting opportunity that delivers. increased share of wallet to drive agreed plan and attainment of results
- Successful implementation and management of agreed pricing strategy to maximize margin and develop team to be able to execute individual negotiation plans and minimize inflation impact.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

- Ability to interact at MD level
- Proven track record of operating at a senior level within a Sales function
- Must demonstrate commercial levers of a business and understanding of successful negotiation at a senior level
- Previous experience of sales management
- Previous experience of man-management
- Proven track record to manage a significant budget spend in conjunction with strong motivation to identify and deliver cost savings without compromising service levels
- MS Office - minimum of intermediate excel, word and PowerPoint
- High level of commercial awareness
