A highly respected, forward - thinking and rapidly expanding Insurance Company are looking to recruit an experienced desk - based Senior Claims Adjuster to join the Leeds based Casualty& Motor team.

About the Role:

Based in Leeds, you will be required to manage cost effective resolution of UK Casualty and Motor Claims, whilst delivering market leading customer service to brokers and clients. More specific duties will include;

- Investigate and resolve a variety of complex Motor, EL and PL claims with an estimated value of between £100k - £250k
- Provide outstanding service, combined with claims excellence and minimal leakage
- Support Claims Adjuster development through training, mentoring and coaching
- Compliance with both statutory and corporate service standards
- Report and resolve issues for Underwriters, Brokers and Clients
- Continuously monitor and adapts to change enhancing technical standards and best practice
- Support the development of relationships with internal and external customers to enable the claims function to fully support their needs
- Support the implementation of the Claims Strategy to enable delivery of the overall business target

Key Skills/Experience Required:

In order to be considered for the position of Senior Casualty Claims Adjuster, you must possess the following;

- Strong technical knowledge of EL/PL /Motor Claims
- A broad understanding of the insurance market
- Superior investigative and negotiation skills
- The ability to produce detailed reports at various levels
- Effective presentation skils
- Effective relationship management skills
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills
- Strong PC literacy

Salary/Benefits Information:

A basic salary of between £31,000 - £32,000 p.a (DOE)
