This is one of the UK's foremost retailers with a commanding share of the on-line, omni-channel market. As its business volumes grow its on-line offering continues to capture the imagination of consumers. They are going through significant a transformation period which is why they require an Interim Logistics Project Manager to act as a business expert within the programme.

The individual will represent the Logistics function and will contribute to the delivery of a way of working which fits into their vision for the future. Initially you will bring an understanding of the current logistics processes and provide clarity of how they are planned to change, whilst continuously consulting with colleagues to determine how the existing business process and operations can be enhanced from the introduction of a new platform. This position will play an integral part in ensuring that the project makes progress, and will also contribute towards the testing phase and guaranteeing it is ready to go live.

The role will be working as part of a large team of internal and external colleagues with a varied knowledge of the programme, you will be instrumental in communicating the vision, and ensuring the business is focussed on the end goal. Your background will be in retail logistics, with a good understanding of end to end supply chain, ideally with exposure to buying and merchandising.
