Leading Facilities Management company needs to appoint an Event Sales Manager to deliver hospitality and private hire sales for this exciting, high profile visitor attraction in East London. The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an Event Sales Manager within the London MICE market (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events).

Basic Overview;

* Permanent role
* £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary plus upto 10k annual bonus
* Event sales role
* Exciting new visitor attraction in East London

The main duties and responsibilities are to deliver high volume of event sales through:

* Securing a minimum of fifty private hire events per annum.
* Upselling catering, merchandise, and sporting activisities to the private hire market
* Working with the Operations Team, deliver a high quality event experience at all times.
* Developing a comprehensive marketing plan to maximise sales
* Developing and managing relationships with relevant event organisers, venue finders and partners
* Representing the venue at key industry events, associations and trade shows
* Managing a set budget to effectively deliver return on investment


* Relevant Degree (or equivalent experience)
* GCSEs at A-C in Maths and English


* A minimum of three years event sales experience
* Significant experience of event marketing
* Commercial management and delivering to sales targets
* Experience of selling event experiences.
* Budget management and reporting experience
* Excellent written English, and experience of proof writing and reading
* Contract management, monitoring and review processes
* Delivery of timely comprehensive reports including data analysis
* Product development - in line with research and market trends
* Budget management, maintenance of excel spread sheets and monthly financial reconciliations


* Experience within the tourism/hospitality/events sector
* Experience of the London MICE market ( Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events)
* Experience of both B2B and B2C marketing
* Partnership working at both operational and strategic levels
* Database management, CRM and relevant emails and direct mailings to different audiences
