Theory Recruitment is seeking to appoint highly motivated, well-qualified Fabrication & Welding Course Leader.

Theory Recruitment are looking for a Fabrication & Welding Course Leader to work on a full-time basis. Working with apprentices, your experience and enthusiasm will help them achieve the results needed, and make sure the relationship between the College and local employers remains positive.

This requires a competent, up-to-date Fabrication & Welding Course Leader with commercial experience from industry, alongside an enthusiastic approach to teaching and engaging our learners.

We are looking for someone who can teach Level 1, 2, and Level 3 Full time, commercial and Apprenticeship programmes, experience is desirable. An Assessor qualification would be an advantage.

Essential for this post are an Initial Teacher Training Qualification or the willingness to work towards one, and a minimum Level 3 Welding qualification, with recent and extensive industry experience. You will also have the ability to design programme materials for the department to support the training and assessment programme within the department.

Additional development and delivery of specialist industry related courses may also be required.

You will hold a degree and relevant qualification in the subject area.
