Senior Implementation Manager X 2 - Prince2 - Commercial - Products - Payments - High availability

N.B: This is a Senior Implementation Project Manager role with a payments product background

The Role:
Project Management responsibilities for any customer implementation led projects and new opportunities presented during the concept phase, supporting the Commercial and Product team(s). Includes providing project management support for International and UK customer implementations, Bids, New Product developments and IT Strategy. To undertake all aspects of project management in order to deliver the objectives within the time, cost and quality constraints. Projects up to £3m in value, large in size or of a high risk profile and complexity.

The Project Manager will manage the day-to-day definition and delivery aspects of multiple projects or work-streams within a programme including, but not limited to: Scope Deliverables Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies Budget, spend to date and forecast to complete Plan and milestones Matrix resource management Reporting and escalation Definition and day to day delivery of projects Employ the SDLC principles for all projects Chair project board reviews, checkpoints and quality reviews. Minimise commercial or reputational risk to the company on projects. Develop lasting relationships at a senior (COO, Business Unit Managing Directors) level within the company Liaise with external third party suppliers Liaise with internal customers and stakeholders Ensure handovers during periods of holiday, sickness, etc are conducted in a timely and effective manner.Work with COO to Identify resources needed for a project and provide feedback to their line managers both during and at the end of the assignment .The Project Manager must: Be able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering commercial and technology driven projects in high availability environments from estimates and business case to post implementation review.

Be familiar with the technology stack: Networks, Platforms, Storage, Database, Middleware and Applications Have experience of working in matrix management project contexts Accurately forecast budget and resource utilisation Ensure project legal documents are completed and signed and have a detailed understanding of all contractual obligations and constraints Effectively convey the comapny position in both written and verbal discussions Have experience of running projects with a budget of up to £xxm Have experience of managing 3rd party suppliers and vendors Learning from experience and previous projects Have Prince2 certification or demonstrable experience in Prince2; ISEB or an equivalent methodology e.g. APM
