Role: EProcurement and EDI Executive

Salary: Up to £35,000

Location: Birmingham

Computer People are looking for an experienced EProcurement and EDI Executive to manage the full range of E-Procurement consultancy services to our key stakesholders.

The Role:

- Manage and lead the external consultancy development team
- Spearhead the E-Procurement development and lead on E-Procurement strategy projects
- Key Account Management with stakeholder and external Clients and System providers.
- Drive on-going development of integrations with Customers and management of the relationship with our 3rd Party integration team.
- Provide dynamic and intelligent management information on total sales and ROI.
- Support the National and Regional Sales Teams and also the Bid Team to increase the share of E-Procurement and Purchase Order based EDI customers.
- Review and improve the E-Procurement process across all platforms to ensure effective governance exists and contract opportunities are being utilised.
- Develop a programme to transition customers towards Purchase Order EDI.
- Drive innovation and sustain continuous improvements; Striving towards simplification of the procurement process and systems.
- Liaise with Product Information team and Sales Team to ensure accurate product data/Catalogues are provided to all customers and across all systems.
- Prepare and present management information to a variety of audiences.

The Person:

- Strong understanding of principles and the application of E-Procurement technologies
- Experience working and communicating at a senior level
- Ability to identify, engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience of championing E-Procurement and effective contract implementation initiatives
- Ability to lead, manage and influence an external development team
- Commercial Acumen - ability to generate fee invoices, negotiate commercial deals for both the organisation and its members.
- Analytical - able to analyse information, make sound adjustments, appraise performance and manage risk.
