A NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager is required to join our client, a national industrial manufacturing company, based primarily at their site in Kent, but also covering one of their other multiple locations.

The main purpose of the role is to compile and implement H&S procedures throughout both sites and promote a positive H&S culture whilst recommending new initiatives for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Manager include conducting risk assessments, generating safe systems of work and site operating procedures, work place audits, reporting non-conformities to management and making recommendations for improvement as necessary. You will also successfully coordinate all accident, incident and near miss investigations producing clear reports with root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.

Alongside other duties, the successful candidate will also be coordinating the availability of persons and facilities to ensure managers, supervisors and employees attend and complete identified H&S training in order to improve company performance as necessary alongside the process of identifying and implementing improvement activities and training needs.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have NEBOSH certificate as an absolute minimum (NEBOSH Diploma would be desirable) as well as holding a full UK driving licence.
