Our client, who is a leader in the retail industry of luxury, high end luggage and travel goods, are looking to recruit for a Full Time Store Supervisor To assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in maintaining a high level of customer service on theSales floor at all times..

Having been established some 90 years, they operate from 6 free standing stores. Situated in the UK they serve the worlds finest customers at their concessions in Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, along with prestigious stores in London Gatwick and Heathrow Airport.

They pride themselves on providing a complete and comprehensive training package. Included in your induction you will receive brand / product training and selling skills training. This training will ensure you are trained with the relevant skills to become a professional advisor and offer great customer service.

The successful applicant must be fully flexible as the role will involve shift work on a rota, working a variety of early, middle and late shifts from 4am to 10pm.

Salary - £18500pa plus 1% commission on personal sales

Duties and Responsibilities

Selling & Sales

- Maintain and increase the sales figures.

- Identify customer needs.

- Report any missed opportunity to the Manager / Assistant Manager.

- Ensure that 'The Sale' is completed courteously at all times.

- Deal with telephone enquiries efficiently and promptly.

- Follow up with customers when necessary/.

- Encourage the use of 'Add on Sales'

Stock & Merchandising

- To have respect for and maintain a thorough knowledge of stock.

- Ensure that stock is clean,' tidy and well presented at all times.

- Assist the Management with stock counts and stock takes when necessary.

- Assist in checking in deliveries correctly.

- Assist in transferring stock.

- Implementing systems of organisation.

- Ensuring tidiness at all times.

- Helping to train staff in stock room standards.

- Ensuring re-filling is done.

- Assist with merchandising and the general display of the store

- Cleaning of products

- Ticketing integrity

- Security standards

- Assist the manager in ensuring that ail relevant PR material for product ranges are in store at all times.

- Assist the manager in ensuring at open and close of store that window presentation standards are upheld.

Departmental Procedures

- To deputise for the assistant manager in his/her absence.

- To liase with head office/host store management when necessary.

- To assume responsibility for store keys when necessary and to open and close the store as needed.
