Regional Sales Manager - Multi-Utility (gas, electricity, fibre, water and district heat)
Location: Scotland
Salary: £40k-£60k plus benefits

Mackenzie Stuart is presently working with a market leading independent utility infrastructure provider who is currently seeking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to help maximise sales and sales opportunities within Scotland.

*To provide first class account management to existing customers to ensure that the company is given the chance to quote for all ongoing opportunities.
*Promote and build and maintain relationships with potential customers.
*Work with colleagues within the sales function, to ensure that the development of the business is focused and effective
*Promote the services of Power On Connections, Metropolitan and Smart Meters and all relevant parent companies brands whenever appropriate to maximise group sales opportunities.

*Ensure that sales targets set and agreed from time to time are met
*Follow up all leads self-discovered or allocated and follow them through to conclusion
*Monitor performance against objectives as agreed with UK Sales Manager
*Build and develop good relationships with both existing and potential clients, ensuring that company is in a strong position to gain future business opportunities
*Take responsibility for ensuring that all proposals are followed through to conclusion, obtaining good feedback
*Monitor and keep abreast of competitor activity within designated sales territory
*Work with the sales support team to maximise the job holder's own effectiveness and to the benefit of the company's sales effort in general
*Work with sales support team, marketing and UK Sales Manager to identify and secure new sales opportunities

*Proven sales track record in business to business environment
*Ability to be adaptable and to sell technically based products and services
*Ability to communicate in a range of mediums with, and to sell to, all appropriate levels within the companies market, up to and including director levels
*Good negotiation and presentation skills.
*Self-motivated but able to work well in a team environment
