Export Sales Manager - Agents & Distributors - £35K

A houseware company based in Liverpool are now looking for an experienced Export/International Sales Manager.

This company has a strong presence in the UK and also internationally. They sell on a B2B basis to the retail sector.

The head office is based in Liverpool; the suitable candidate will live within a 30 mile radius of the company's head office as the role will be based there. International travel will also be required.

The Role
The Export/International Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business on an international scale.
Pro-active sales approach
Developing new business selling to distributors and agents
Account Management of international accounts
Actively and professionally manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and lead management to prospecting, arranging appointments, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating, closing and handing over new accounts to the sales admin team.
To ensure that all sales opportunities are fully captured and fully explored.
To build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline and to ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately documented and kept up-to-date in the Salesforce CRM system.
To provide timely response and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
To thoroughly research and understand prospects' products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives, overall business requirements and ROI objectives, and to advise clients accordingly on the best mix of products and services required to meet these objectives.
To create polished proposals, presentations, contracts and other documentation, in line with relevant department procedures.
International travel to attend trade shows, fayres, and meeting clients

The Package
Up to £35,000 basic
OTE depending on sales performance
28 days holiday
Staffing discount

The Candidate
2 years in international/export sales
Must have international travel experience
Must be able to work with and sell to agents and distributors
Fluent in Spanish and/or French would be an advantage
Ability to be office based
Must be able and willing to travel internationally
