We are a multinational FMCG company, one of the biggest based in the UK, currently seeking Field Sales Executives to develop our business portfolio, with roles in the following areas:

- Lincoln, Boston, Grantham and Newark
- Carlisle
- Worcester Park

The role

As a Field Sales Executiveyou will play a key role in our commercial development by building business relationships with retailers in a given geographical territory. You will be the face of the business responsible for managing customer relations internally and externally.

The best part of this opportunity is that it is much more than a sales role. As a Field Sales Executive you will be responsible for managing your own business plan, responsible for stock and cash reconciliation and managing your own budgets. You will be responsible for developing a trade marketing and distribution plan for your assigned territory and executing the plan with excellence to ensure that it meets all of its objectives (brand, volume, distribution, trials and in-store marketing objectives). The role requires individuals to have some understanding of consumers, product, brand portfolio knowledge, commercial / sales and marketing principles in order to support decision making at retail level.

For your part, you will be driven and able to work independently. You will be a strong communicator with a proven ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Your attention to detail will be sharp, ensuring that market data is reported accurately to enable the smartest business decisions to be made on the back of it.

The Person

- Sales /customer-facing experience
- Excellent communication, negotiation and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships
- Financial awareness and comfortable working with numbers
- Self-motivation, team spirit, integrity and strong customer engagement skills
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Sound IT skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Flexibility and innovative thinking
- Ambition to grow within the organisation

Essential Requirements

- University degree or similar, or relevant equivalent experience
- You must live on or near the territory or be willing to relocate to the area
- You must have a UK driving licence
- You must have the right to work in the UK


As well as an excellent starting salary of £26,000 + annual bonus (up to 30% of annual salary), you will be given a company car, daily lunch allowance, private healthcare, share scheme options plus many other benefits. You will be given extensive training in your role and will go through a tailored training programme for Field Sales Executives. There are also plenty of opportunities for progression within the business, with many of our Field Sales Executives having progressed to senior roles in the company.
