We are working exclusively with our chosen business partner to really bring a talented Quality Manager into this manufacturing company. The company specialises in manufacture of automotive components and supplies and distributes Worldwide.

This role will ensure that quality standards both internally and in the supply chain to meet the clients expectations.

Key Responsibilities;

* Represent Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement on the local management team.

* To support the General Manager in the development, establishment, operation and maintenance of the quality assurance system to meet the requirements of the companies Quality Policy. This includes TS16949, ISO14001, IS09001, Q1 and any future customer specific systems.

* To manage and develop systems and culture, which encourage participation in the Continuous Improvement process.

* To train and develop problem solving skills using agreed techniques, ie PPS, 8D, etc.

* To ensure that all products meet the inspection and testing requirements set out by the customer.

* To ensure that systems and procedures are in place and ensure that all non conforming product is prevented from manufacture, unintentional use or installation.

* To establish and maintain the use of statistical techniques for the control and verification of process capabilities and product characteristics, as required.

* To ensure that all products manufactured at the factory conform to the Production Part Approval Procedure (PPAP).

* To support, train, motivate and manage all quality assurance personnel operating within the Quality Department.

* To ensure all customer concerns and warranties are fully investigated in accordance with quality systems, customer expectations using agreed tools, ie PPS, 8D, methodology as appropriate.

* To provide reports and cooperation, as required, with other sites in accordance with corporate and local reporting requirements in a timely manner.

Key Requirements;

* Will have at least 5 years QM experience within the Automotive Industry.

* Ideally degree qualified or a minimum of HND.

* Excellent manufacturing and process knowledge.
