Service Manager / Customer Support Manager

- Basic Salary £35,000 - £45,000

Based from my client's Head Office - commutable from Dorset, Poole, Salisbury, Yeovil, Christchurch, Eastleigh, Winchester, Dorchester, Southampton, Bournemouth

I have been exclusively retained by my client, who design, develop, and manufacture a niche range of electro-mechanical equipment. The development of new products and the evolution of existing products are cornerstones of the company's strength and success.

An incredible opportunity for a Service Manager / Customer Support Manager has arisen with this innovative company. A successful company with an enviable growth record; they pride themselves on their highly skilled design and development team. They are looking to recruit an experienced After Sales Manager to lead their service and installation team, who has experience working with electromechanical products.

This role is based from my client's office and is reporting to the Managing Director. The role will encompass the following responsibilities:

- Managing a team of service and installation engineers.
- Scheduling factory acceptance testing of new instruments in conjunction with installation, maintenance and customer returns.
- Considerable client contact and some international travel, providing installations, training and service on a worldwide basis.
- Managing technical support.
- Promoting Service Contracts to increase sales.

The successful Service Manager / Customer Support Manager will have:

- Previous experience working with instrumentation systems, mechanical design and electrical wiring.

- A good staff motivator, confident and pro-active with a passion to succeed.
- A lateral thinker with a high degree of computer literacy.
- A driving license and willingness to travel when required.
