Stonewater are seeking a diligent and committed Project Co-ordinator, to join our team in Dorchester. This is a great opportunity for a team player, who has a passion in working with young people. We want someone who can bring their positive influence to our residents, and our team.

You will lead the staff team to ensureStonewater delivers a high quality support and housing service. Your duties will include the day-to-day management of the service, supervising and supporting staff; promoting the service through the use of marketing activities, and to maintain a culture in which young people has access to education, training and employment opportunities.

You should ideally have at least 3 years' of experience in relation to working with young people. This should be supported by a comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding issues, homelessness, housing, and knowledge of relevant funding frameworks. You will also have a relevant Level 3 Qualification in H & S Care or other relevant qualification, combined with strong literacy and numeracy skills. You'll need to be able to work flexibly, including on call rota, occasional evenings, weekends, bank holiday and potentially some sleep-in cover. The position may require some driving to other schemes in Dorset, so you should have a valid driving licence and ideally use of your own car.

The role involves working with vulnerable young people and adults and as such Stonewater will require appropriate background checks, via the Disclosure and Barring Service and references.
