The Salary & Benefits

The company pay a basic pay rate of £7.20 per hour increasing to £8.00 after a successful 12 week qualifying period.

FGH have an extremely competitive Bonus structure in place for working quickly and accurately after completion of a 12 week qualifying period, allowing you to earn up to £4.50 extra per hour.

Job Requirements

- Picking mainstream and next day items and allocate tickets to ensure the catalogue numbers are correct.
- Ensuring all elements including Jewellery and hanging items are collated prior to packing.
- Minimising errors.
- Packing Items - including Stationary/Leaflets
- Maintaining agreed levels of quality and productivity.
- Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of self and others.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Working to an Item per Hour (IPH) and Unit Hour(UHR) Target.

Must have similar experience within a fast moving warehouse environment. Two weeks initial training is provided.

The Person

To be successful in this role you will need to:

- Be able to do both a picking and packing role.
- Be able to quickly and accurately read pick sheets, labels and item codes.
- Be able to work at a sustained fast pace.
- Be able to quickly and accurately scan barcodes or manually key items numbers.
- Have excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Good communication skills.
- Drive and motivation.
- Show a high level of flexibility.
- Looking for a long term role

Due to the nature of the business you will need to be flexible in the hours you work as they can change at short notice. Our Client can operate a "Flex Up" shift which may mean your hours are increased by 2 hours at short notice to meet demand. You may also be asked to work weekends so flexibility is key.

This position includes Saturday or Sunday working (However 2 consecutive days off are given back else where in the week)
