Due to continuing business success and growth we now have a fantastic opportunity available for a Despatch Supervisor to join our team in Newbury, working 37.5 hours a week.

Despatch Supervisor responsibilities:

Reporting to the Shipping Manager; you will be supervising Despatch, consisting of Packing and Finished Goods area to ensure that product is packed in an efficient and timely manner and stored safely and securely. Your responsibilities will also include:

- Ensuring that adequate stocks of packing materials are maintained at all times.
- Co-ordinating with Production Managers for receiving and packing of all products.
- Ensuring that all Despatch areas are kept neat and tidy and all operations are carried out in accordance with the company's health and safety policy.
- Arranging for shipment and return of authorised demonstration/hire/loan equipment and raise necessary shipping documentation.
- Logging movements of demonstration/hire/loan equipment on MFG computer system.
- Providing cover for all areas of Despatch, as required.
- Attending weekly meeting with Production manager to ensure that sufficient packaging orders are in place, to meet requirements.
- Ordering packaging on a weekly basis.
- Raising orders for packaging supplies on MFG and Oracle systems.
- Process orders on Oracle system ready for shipment.
- Loading and unloading of collection and delivery vehicles.
- Any other adhoc duties as required.

The ideal Despatch Supervisor:

In order to be successful for this role, you will need proven experience of working within a stores/packing environment alongside previous supervisory responsibilities. You will also need:

- Experience of dealing with both internal and external teams.
- Current forklift licence preferable, although is not essential.
- Good computer skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Good literacy and numeracy.
- Self-motivation with the ability to operate under the minimum of supervision and communicate clearly.
