Site Logistics Administrator

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 PA dependent on experience

Holidays: 20 days and 8 bank holiday days per calendar year

Benefits: Funded training contracts are available after 1 year of working

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Logistics Administrator to join a prestigious natural stone manufacturing company based in Blackfriars. The company is installing a multi-million pound natural stone package. This recruit will become an integral part of the on-site facilitation team along with our site engineer, QS, project managers and fitting teams.

Key roles

- Complete responsibility for material logistics on and off site - o Stone, glass, mirrors, hardware, consumables
- o At storage facility, at stone factory, at glass factory

- Administration of goods coming into 3rd party storage facility - checked, labelled, prepared for vesting (requires premises visits as needed) - o Accurately cataloguing all materials in and out of 3rd party storage facility

- Planning and liaising all call-offs for all consumables to ensure daily site deliveries as required - o Capable of operating on a 'just in time' method of deliveries
- o Scheduling deliveries with main contractor

- Document control duties including: - o All H&S (method statements are up to date, arranging H&S training , induction, CSCS paperwork etc) site security and QA documentation is maintained and regularly updated
- o Ensuring site programme is always up to date, amended to reflect the actual situation at all times, will requires site walk arounds to ensure full awareness of the location of our consumables, pro-actively identifying potential logistics issues and pre-empting problems by putting solution in place
- o Maintaining files of project documentation including tools, equipment, tool & plant hire

- Site office admin - ensuring radios, phones, IT, stationery, staff issues are dealt with via office, suppliers etc. Ensuring fitting personnel time sheets are accurate and sent to the office in a timely manner. Recording sick days, holiday requests. Ensuring site office is kept tidy and in order to present a professional image of Mega Marble

Key Skills

- Highly competent computer skills, especially Excel (able to create spreadsheets including formulas, manipulate etc)
- Previous experience of working on large new build construction site essential
- Methodical, pedantic approach to organisation
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude
- Embraces working under pressure and multi-tasking
