We are now seeking a Customer Champion for our Nottingham Branch (NG8) to join us on a 13 month fixed term contract for a maternity cover. This is a busy, demanding and fulfilling role, involving customer service, attrition, retentions upselling and administration.

Working closely with the General Manager, the overall objectives are to ensure customer retention to drive a customer centric culture; influence all personnel that impact the service to the customers to drive quick resolution of issues that would otherwise lead to attrition; actively contribute to the development of national customer relation strategy and identifying root causes to implement long term corrective actions.

As a Customer Service Professional, you will possess a proven track record in administration, deliver exceptional customer service and possess sales related experience. First class communication skills are essential (both written and verbal) and experience of the management of clients and managing customers` expectations. Additionally, you must be IT literate to include skills in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint and ideally have experience of systems such as JDE and i-Sales. You will be flexible and adaptable with the ability to thrive in a fast based demanding environment and the ability to be able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You must display a particularly confident telephone manner, able to persuade, influence and negotiate. We are interested in Customer Service Professionals, ideally from a busy service industry (although preferably from
within Fire & Security).

The Customer Champion role also involves managing the monthly customer top 100 calls, the response retention project, customer pricing and contract terminations issues, whilst promoting any upselling opportunities where appropriate. You will also be accountable for resolution and delivery by being able to take ownership and resolve any customer complaints whilst also converting any potential terminations into renewal.
