Reception and Accommodation Manager - YHA London Lee Valley - Permanent - 42.5 Hours per Week - Live Out - GBP 19,890 to GBP 20,885 per Annum + GBP 2,652 LLA

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as Reception and Accommodation Manager. This vital role is responsible for maximising occupancy levels and proactively up-selling all available hostel products.

Taking ownership of the welcome and departure procedures in the hostel, it will be your responsibility to ensure all Team Members are developed and trained to deliver excellent service to our customers, making their stay one to remember.

Our Reception and Accommodation Managers must:

* Take full accountability of the reception and accommodation service of the hostel

* Use YHA's booking system to generate income and maximise profits through effective revenue management

* Deputise for the management of the hostel

* Review and respond to customer feedback and seek opportunities to improve

In order to be a great Reception and Accommodation Manager we are looking for people who:

* Have proven ability of/able to demonstrate management of teams

* Have previous experience working within the hospitality industry and are able to demonstrate the knowledge of tourist industry standards

* Evidence of recruiting, mentoring and developing others

* Knowledge and understanding of YHA and our customer base

* Ability to manage high pressured environments

Please note there will be a requirement to work frequent evening and weekend work on a rota basis to meet the needs of the business.
