Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for an experienced strategic Head of Marketing Analysis to join a large Commercial organisation based in the East Midlands area. This role would suit a pro-active individual who is capable of leading the analytics/database team and providing the whole marketing team with an increased level of analytical support.

This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate effective measurement and reporting for marketing performance across the whole business. This organisation has a huge amount of data available and this role will help in shaping how they utilise this to make the right decisions to continue their growth across various channels.

This is a senior position requiring a large degree of autonomy and self motivation and it would be highly advantageous to have previously worked with or managed a Database Agency. Digital Marketing is also a very important part of the business model and there is an increasing requirement to integrate the variety of digital data with more traditional data sources.

Key Responsibilities in the role

-Work with the media agency to deliver the right level of analysis to Media teams in order to make the right media decisions for the business
-Manage the forecasting process with the agency and internal teams.
-Control the marketing budgets ensuring all budget reporting is up to date
-Responsible for developing and monitoring performance measures, benchmarking and sector analysis
-Support with the implementation of a Data Management Platform
-Help deliver the overall marketing strategy

Key Skills Required

-University degree or equivalent
-Significant senior experience of Market Analysis with a successful track record and knowledge of databases.
-Experience working with Database Agencies.
-Familiarity with extracting data from systems, excellent Excel skills and the ability to use reporting tools to analyse and present data.
-Good influencing and communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior management and mange key work relationships.
-Experience of working with Google Analytics to a high standard.
-An appetite to take on new challenges, drive improved reporting across the business and a desire to develop your interpersonal and professional skills.
-This role manages a small team so people management experience would be an advantage.
Previous experience of IMS is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
