New opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer to be based in Warrington area

Salary: Up to £45,000

My Client is looking for a Control Systems Engineer to be based near Warrington, for a multi sector company. They require an engineer who is experienced in multiple industry sectors, technical experience in the water/oil/gas or power sectors and full project life-cycle experience with PLCs.

Some of the key responsibilities of the Controls Engineer are:

- Working on all aspects of the project life-cycle

- Generating PLC code from scratch, designing and testing of the software

- Documentation and commissioning of the project

- Work as part of a team or alone with senior guidance as required

- Control system hardware design

- Generation of risk assessments and method statements

- On site installation, testing and process commissioning

Ideally you will have:

- Full project life cycle experience

- Design and development of PLC systems from scratch, such as Siemens or Allen Bradley

- Electrical Design experience using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electric

- Any industrial experience within the oil/gas/water/power or food industry

- HNC in electrical engineering as a minimum, degree preferred.

- Client facing experience

- At least 5 years hands on experience, the more experience will lead to the higher wage brackets
