About the role

As a Bio Solids Recycling Manager you will be accountable for recycling of compliant bio solids in accordance with all relevant legislation and best practice, Identifying & leading on improvement initiatives & projects related to Bio Solids & Energy activities. You will be required to build and develop excellent working relationships with Key internal & external stakeholders including The Environment Agency, Water UK, Atkins, Wholesale operations, Purchasing.

You will be responsible for the management of an Opex budget c.£10m pa and an income budget c. £1.7m therefore it is vital you have previous budget management.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be required to have knowledge of the legislation and governance of sludge recycling including the 1989 Sludge Use In Agriculture Regs, the Safe Sludge Matrix, NVZ’s and the Bio Solids Assurance Scheme, someone with experience in a similar role within the water or food/ crop industry would be ideal.

You'll be equipped with excellent planning, co-ordination skills and networking/communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with other teams, suppliers, customers and external bodies at all organisational levels.
