Position Description:
Based within the PT-46/7 Electrification team, the D7u Project Leader will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering deliverables and gateway requirements are met for the Propulsion components on D7u , HV Battery, Power Electronics, Electric traction motor, transmission, charging systems, cooling system, systems engineering, powertrain control module, control systems, Engines and PTSE and drive shafts.

This involves working cross-functionally across Powertrain and Electrical CoCs. Specific tasks will include: Coordinating the Propulsion System engineering teams to deliver D7u Propulsion components to meet all project/program requirements under PCDS.

Responsible for planning of PCDS deliverables, ensuring they are cascaded and understood by engineering teams and robust timing plans put in place for each area management of investment and piece costs for the D7u Propulsion System; working with Purchasing, Finance and Cost Engineering to agree cost targets and achieve supplier on board timings.

Reporting out status at regular programme meetings (VIT, PST, Must Resolve, ETI) and compiling deliverables and evidence to report out gateway events Running Propulsion System Project meetings (chairman, agenda preparation and issuing of minutes)
Ensuring lessons learnt are captured to be implemented in future Programmes.

Skills Required:
Experience of being successful in managing complex technical issues, balancing conflicting needs of the business within project timing constraints Strong Leadership and cross functional working skills ,Self-motivated, proactive and able to deliver with minimum supervision.

Experience Required:
Degree qualified, Competent User of Microsoft Office packages, Experience of PCDS, RMDV2, AIMS, and knowledge of i3 processes.
Full driving license.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of PCDS, RMDV2, AIMS, and knowledge of i3 processes.

Additional Information :
Knowledge of software delivery control plans desirable.
Knowledge of FMA desirable -Location: Gaydon, Whitley & Solihull
