Our client based in Glasgow, Scotland are currently recruiting for a Quotations Support Administrator to commence ASAP for an indefinite period.


Prepare customers' quotations and ensuring they are processed in a timely and accurate manner. Provide order and quote support for unassigned Customers.

Deliver a high quality professional service to external customers and colleagues.

Main Duties:

Proactively build your knowledge of products and their application.

Build, strengthen and maintain effective customer relationships (by telephone and E-Mails) gathering market and customer information which can be used to help achieve additional sales.

Prepare quotations, ensuring quote details comply with the relevant internal or external request and are in line with cost policy, and agreed terms and conditions.

Follow-up on quotations sent out within target period, currently 2 weeks.

Update and maintain all project, quote and customer information on CRM.

Provide support to Customers not assigned to External Sales. This encompasses quoting, order processing, equipment returns and Customer disputes.

Provide cover for Internal Sales generic Inbox. Rota operated within department resulting in cover 1 week in 12. Responsibility includes actions and distribution for received E-Mails as appropriate.

General assistance for Sales Support Coordinators as appropriate during periods of peak workload.

Member of Internal Sales telephone group answering Customer queries as required.

Maintain and exceed customers' expectations with a high quality response to all customer enquiries; finding solutions, delivering detailed and accurate quotations, including equipment selection and availability.

Build and strengthen proactive relationships with External Sales colleagues, passing on market and customer information which can be used to help achieve additional sales, and working closely together to deliver a high quality service to our customers.

Closely liaise with other company departments to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality, service and timescale.

Regularly review the systems within your area of responsibility to identify areas for improvement opportunities.

Undertake administrative duties related to the role to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures (e.g. the Internal Sales quality assurance system, especially the contract review elements), to ensure customer satisfaction

Ad hoc duties as required by the Internal Sales Manager.


* A good level of education, including English and Maths.
* Customer services / sales administration experience would be be advantageous.
* Good level of computer literacy, working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
* Good communicator who possesses strong customer services skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships (both internally and externally).
* Organised self starter who uses their on own initiative and contributes to the team.
* Flexible and confident individual with a proactive can-do attitude who can prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
