Our client, a market leading manufacturer of packaging machinery, supplying into the Food and Pharmaceutical industries has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Service Engineer. You will be responsible for service, repairs and breakdowns of equipment at customer sites throughout the UK and Ireland. With a portfolio boasting a number of branded clients including the likes of Nestle, Cadbury's, Thorntons, Warburtons, Gillette and more, this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking for a technically challenging role within a globally recognised organisation.

Role & Responsibilities
* Responding to service calls on a UK wide basis
* Install, Commission, Test, service and repair a wide variety of packaging equipment throughout the UK and Ireland
* Equipment includes labellers, palletizers, cappers, wrappers and many other special functions
* Mechanical and Electrical Fault Finding
* Offering advice and technical support to customers
* Reporting directly to the Service Manager in the UK
* Training will be provided in house and a chance to train abroad!

Required Skills & Experience

* Mechanical and Electrical Skills
* Experience of packaging equipment either in Maintenance or Service capacity
* Familiarity with PLC fault finding
* Time Served Experience
* Willingness to travel throughout the UK
* Good communication skills
* Motivated to work on industry leading equipment
