The company we specialise in state of the art industrial automation technology. Our core disciplines are in the areas of machine vision control all of which have become vital components in advanced automated systems, contributing to greater output and consistent product quality
The company offers an expert capability in the provision of bespoke equipment for applications in the aerospace, automotive and renewable energy sectors. Systems on offer vary from stand alone vision inspection systems through robot milling and vision guided robot cells to highly specialised machines with over seven hundred axes of motion. It is true to say we often succeed where perceived industry leaders fail.
Composite materials have become an increasingly common element in mainstream aerospace, automotive and marine applications. the company has an expanding portfolio of projects targeted at composite processes.
These range from composite handling and inspection to kitting systems. A recent system capable of trimming and deburring random shaped flat panels without the use of CAD data or programming is being enhanced to process complex 3D forms.
The role and responsibilities:
º Due to an increase in our workload and ambitious growth plans we are seeking a project engineer who enjoys the challenge of working with automated machinery. You should be enthusiastic, demonstrate great communications skills and relish the challenges encountered while creating complex bespoke machines..

Additional Information £30,000 - £38,000 pa Pension, Holiday entitlement bonus and further training

Personal specification:

º A good science, engineering or maths based degree.
º An excellent track record of being able to structure, organise and deliver highly complex engineering project on time and on budget.
º A thorough understanding of creating and organising software, mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
º Be technically competent and be able to make considered engineering decisions.
º Be customer facing and a confident ambassador for the company.
º Ideally possess a recognised project management qualification, for example Prince2.
º Experience in a similar industry would also be an advantage and allow you to hit the ground running
