Site Engineering Maintenance Manager, West Yorkshire.

This is a new position due to company growth and would suit someone who has extensive experience in Maintenance Management but sees themself as a leader of people not just a functional, hands on fire-fighter. There is huge scope to make cultural changes and a real difference to how this large company currently works. Need a new challenge? This could be it!

The role:
Manage a maintenance budget of circa £10m
manage and lead a team of circa 20 heads
use RCM as the heart of change and development of assets
H&S governance and accountability
Availability of assets and well planned shutdowns and delivery of asset care
Cost management
Team development and training
Working knowledge of key legislation including HASAWA, PSSR, PUWER, LOLER, Electricity at work, DSEAR
Championing appropriate investigation of all plant failures using problem solving techniques such as RCA, fishbone, etc.

Essential knowledge, experience & capabilities:
* Proven experience in plant based maintenance engineering team management,
* A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Control Engineering highly preferred
* Chartered status with either IMechE, IEEE or equivalent
* Practitioner in formal problem solving tools (eg: RCA, 5 why's)
* Strong leadership and compelling influencing skills
