SALARY: £50,000-60,000 + Car Allowance per Annum (Permanent Role)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager skilled in major infrastructure construction works to join one of the UK's leading suppliers of clean water. This is your opportunity to play a vital part in an organisation that is working to shape the future of the Water industry.

Based in Cambridgeshire you will play a pivotal role within the Asset Management team responsible for programme packages up to £500M.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years experience working on major infrastructure construction projects in the UK. Previous experience working in the water industry will be highly advantageous. This will be a challenging career development role that will significantly help further your knowledge of project planning and refine your leadership skills.

Reporting to the Director of Programme Management

* Plan the programme outcomes and outputs, manage multiple stakeholders and ensure the effective delivery of the programme and related projects
* leading the development and delivery of the Business Capital Programme across multiple delivery routes
* Support the project manager in the successful planning and control of project delivery
* Ensure that the periodic project reporting requirements are met for both internal and client through the provision of schedule delay and critical path analysis reports as required
* Work with project team to ensure project schedules are accurately developed and maintained with accurate resource /cost loading where relevant
* Perform critical path analysis and advise of possible actions and areas of concern

* Provide input to the strategic direction of the organisation, including constraints and opportunities, to ensure an alignment of the investment programme to support the business.
* Manage risk and opportunity at programme level.
* Establishing and chairing Project Boards (over £15 million) and Portfolio Boards (over £30 million).
* Providing direction and challenge to the project or portfolio throughout the project lifecycles as a lead.
* Collaborate with the Integrated Project Leader to achieve targeted outcomes.

* Minimum 5 years experience working as a programme manager / planner - Primavera P6 desired
* Experience working on major infrastructure works packages (Water experience highly advantageous)
* Excellent written and verbal communication
