A leading international manufacturer with a turnover in excess of $2 billion specialising in high value motion control equipment for the Automotive and Aerospace industries currently requires the services of an experienced degree qualified Test Equipment Manager on a permanent basis.

Suitable candidates will ideally be experienced in the design and development of electro- mechanical hydraulic test equipment for systems testing for both development and production test equipment. Typical systems will involve hydraulic, electronic, mechanical and software systems testing mainly in relation to motion control equipment. You will be responsible for a team of 20+ engineers and capable of identifying strengths within the team, change management and encouraging the collaboration between other members and companies within the group.

The successful applicant will travel to other locations in worldwide including the US to share ideas within the group to help towards improvements, solving problems and new test methods within the department.

You will lead, motivate and continually challenge a multi-disciplinary team encompassing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic and electronics engineers to achieve company goals.

To be considered you will be degree qualified in a related engineering discipline and have extensive experience working within a system test environment ideally within the aerospace or automotive industry or an environment involving Hydraulic, Software, Electronic and mechanical systems.
