Our client is a leader in the field of gate automation and security products. They are a growing company committed to the design and supply of the best security products available. Due to continued expansion an exciting role as technical sales manager has evolved.

Key working Relationships
* Reporting to the Sales Director
* Working with Installation Manager
* Working with Design Department

The Role
Reporting directly to the managing director you will be responsible for sales budgets, forecasts and ensuring the sales target is achieved. You will have had experience dealing with both individuals and blue chip companies with a proven record of successful sales.

Preferably with experience in the security market or a qualification in engineering you will be responsible for taking our new products to market and developing business with the company's existing clients.

You will be required to carry out site surveys, to design and engineer a solution for the client and produce an accurate timely quotation.

The Requirement
You will need to be commercially astute with good negotiation skills.
You will need organised and methodical.
The requirement to present well to clients and possess good sales closure techniques is essential.
You need to possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience
HND, Degree or equivalent in an Engineering subject.
Experience in Technical Sales.

Personal Attributes
Able to work comfortably on your own as well as part of a team.
Good presentation techniques.
Flexible and confident.
Self Motivated
