An exciting opportunity for an experienced Plater with a heavy engineering background

Nicholas Associates Engineering & Manufacturing is recruiting for a Plater. My client is a well established engineering business based in Doncaster who supply a diverse range of Turnkey engineering projects Mining, Rail, Oil and Gas Industries

We have opportunities working either straight days or permanent nights (with shift premium)

Key responsibilities of the Plater role,
* Manufacturing of heavy fabrications in a shop environment from schematic drawings.

* Heavy Structural Steelwork

* Candidates must also have worked in a shop environment before and have a background in heavy engineering working on thick plate

You should have

*Experience of working on medium to heavy engineering products 10 Tonne plus

* Apprentice Trained Fabricator - Plater/Welder

*Experience of working in shop based environment on medium to heavy engineering environment

* Knowledge of responsibilities under current health, safety and environmental legislation

In return for your experience as a Plater we can offer you
*Salary of £20,000 - £23,000
