Our client are a utility metering company. They are developing/expanding a dynamic team to deliver a large portfolio of industrial and commercial meters nationwide and also a smart meter solutions deployment programme across the UK.
They are looking for Maintenance Supervisor to join their I&C team and work nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all aspects relating to the delivery of the installation of metering
- Adhere to objectives set in the Health & Safety/Quality Policy
- Set expectations, supervise and motivate the allocated field engineers in order to excel in performance
- Ensure that allocated field engineers have adequate information, instruction, training and supervision
- Ensure that controlled processes and procedures are adhered to and developed according to business needs
- Support field staff where resources are stretched or where skills need to be developed
- Establish and maintain a working rota of engineers to provide the required cover periods
- Ensure that billable activity is maximised
- Carry out technical and non-technical audits
- Produce and deliver monthly tool box talks
- Mentor new engineers through buddy process

Essential Skills:
- COCN1 (or equivalent), MET4, CMET1/2, ICPN1, TPCP1/1a
- Field experience of metering work and understanding of IGEM Metering Standards
- First line management experience in the gas industry
- Good motivational and communication skills
- Able to drive customer service as well as installation performance
- Attention to detail

In return they offer a salary between 30-35K per annum. You will be provided with a Van, Fuel Card, Mobile Phone, Uniform & PPE kit. You must have a clean UK Driving Licence and they will provide a Basic CRB check
