They are now looking to recruit staff to help bolster their already established presence and currently have a vacancy for a Regional Field Service Engineer to cover all service requirements to batteries and chargers associated to Electric Forklift Truck batteries in the region.

The role will involve attending client sites to carry out a combination of scheduled maintenance checks/services as well as respond to emergency call outs to repair faults and ensure minimal downtime for customers. The company will provide full training in the role for candidates who have the fundamental skills/knowledge/experience in electrical work.

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary, be issued with a company van (which can be used for personal mileage), mobile phone and tablet device, and be furnished with essential equipment and personal protective equipment to the highest standard. This position is subject to regular incremental salary reviews and after a few years' service, engineers can achieve salaries of up to £32k pa once they have achieved the necessary experience.

Field Service Engineer applicants will have experience in electrical and/or mechanical work. C&G Electrical installation qualification would be desirable but is not essential. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license with maximum 3 live penalty points. This role will require engineers to spend days working automatously often deploying directly from home to customer sites, so we are looking for someone who is reliable and trustworthy and enjoys interacting with people.

This is a Monday - Friday working role, with overtime paid if the workers have to work in excess of the 40 hour working week. The role offers an immediate start and excellent career progression for enthusiastic and committed individuals. The role may be well suited to people from an ex-military background, and those with a strong interest in electrical/mechanical work
