An exciting opportunity has arisen, to join our client, who is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join the team. Who is motivated, great work ethic, focused and experienced in the Civil Engineering sector. The role involves working on a groundwork packages throughout the Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Merseyside area.

They are a family firm with a dedicated, skilled workforce which we believe is key to our success. Their workforce is fully accredited and trained in terms of both health and safety and skills.

The Ideal Person

* Responsible for ensuring the section of works are delivered safely; to specification, budget and programme
* Provide innovative engineering solutions to a challenging project.
* Develop construction methodologies / plans / programmes
* Management of site activities
* Progress reporting
* Cost Forecasting for the section of works
* Material procurement approvals
* Provide technical engineering support as a key member of the team
* Leadership / support / guidance and management to section engineers and site engineers
* Preparation of methods and procedures supported by diagrams and sketches for Work Package Plans

Required Qualifications & Skills

* Must have groundworks/ roads / drainage and potentially housing experience
* Experienced in in any civils or build industries

* Strong Planning & Organising skills
