A Control Panel Wirer is required to support a Midlands based industrial machine manufacturer to wire up a range of control panels for automated systems.

They will consider permanent or contract.

Due to a high number of new orders an opportunity has arisen for experienced Control Panel Wirer's with knowledge of special purpose machinery or machine tools.

As Control Panel Wirer you will be expected to carry out the following:

* Working to details electrical schematic to wire complete machines incorporating motion controllers, PLCs, sensors, relays, servos etc.
* Connecting all electrical components to the control panel ensuring all cables are neat, tidy and free from obstructing the operation of the machine.
* Liaise with internal colleagues and advise design teams and operations of any pre-emptive issues during the pre build phase.
* Quality checking the control panels for any faults.
* Work quickly and methodically to ensure that build times are adhered to.

Skills and qualifications required for Control Panel Wirer include:

* Experienced control panel wirer for special purpose machinery.
* Able to read electrical schematics.
* PLC fault finding desirable.
* 17th Edition Qualified is desirable
* Detailed training will be provided but industrial panel wiring experience is essential.
