Do you want to manage your own team and deliver development projects from inception to completion?

A market leading multidisciplinary consultancy is looking to expand their Cost Consultancy team in Leeds. They are looking for someone to come in, manage accounts and play the key client facing role in the delivery of their new projects.

About the role

Acting as the Client’s main point of contact, you can expect to be working with a variety of Developers, Blue Chip Clients and Hotels. You will also work towards winning new business whilst maintaining current relationships. Projects typically vary in range of value from £1 Million to £500 Million across the following sectors;

Residential – PRS Developments

Mixed-Use Commercial Developments

Hotels – New Build, Bespoke Luxury Fit out

Retail – Superstore and Retail Parks

You will be required to deliver a full range of cost management duties overseeing most projects from inception through to completion. Once you are established, you will be given the responsibility of mentoring a small team of assistant surveyors whilst they work on their APC. Other responsibilities include;

Overseeing the management and service delivery of multiple projects

Client management

A high degree of project delivery

Management of multiple projects and project teams

Business development (finding, leading and winning new fee commissions)

Operational and Business management

Ensuring Technical Excellence in our service delivery

The role requires a highly capable individual with a high level of drive and ambition and strong organisational skills to develop and grow key client accounts in various sectors. This represents an excellent opportunity for the right individual to become a figurehead with their clients and a senior partner down the line.

About You

Ideally you will be chartered and from a Consultancy background working on high-end private sector developments. You will have successful experience of rollout programmes and a balanced mix of pre and post contract experience.

Previous experience of business development or securing repeat business will be looked upon favourably. Providing high quality early cost advice to our clients is a must.
