Our client have a regional office in Hastings and are looking to recruit a Project Manager to oversee, help establish and run a database and project tracking tool.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is experienced within Project Management and has a knowledge of databases to join a niche company and be apart of a large and very important project.

The successful candidate may come from a customer service/personnel management background with data management experience.

You will be doing the following;

* Taking overall responsibility for the project tracker/database
* To be the primary interface between all internal and external contributors to the project, and the main point of contact for subscriber feedback.
* To coordinate the deployment of r=the company's resources and to ensure targets for quality, sales, cost controls and revenues are met.
* To line mange the live and systematic updaters
* To evaluate subscriber feedback and to coordinate with relevant staff to ensure gaps are filled and inaccuracies in the data are resolved.
* To ensure that the database is working at all times and to coordinate timely response to any technical failure with service providers
* To coordinate with sales staff on development, regional, country and thematic priorities.
* To implement strategy set by the responsible director to the line manager.

You need to be fairly technical minded and understand how to use and manage databases.

You will also be taking on a team of Researchers and Investigators - you will deal with the hiring process.
