My Client is one of the World’s leading Construction and Property Consultancies. They operate globally and currently have over 800 employees. They are large enough to service projects on the global stage but still small enough to know their employees and clients personally giving a more intimate feel than its counterparts and this very same value can be felt throughout the business be it as an employee or client anywhere Worldwide.

This organisation works with some of the world’s most high-profile developers and enjoys the privileged position of receiving repeat business from a range of clients across a variety of disciplines within the property market, giving their employees the chance to work on some of the world’s most exciting projects within the built environment.

We are looking for a Cost Manager at the Executive level to join our client’s London office. The suitable candidate will hold MRICS status and will be working on high end redevelopments, hotels, retail and commercial office projects of which they would have ideally had previous experience in.
Strong communication skills are essential as the role includes working closely with clients, you should be confident in working independently and managing your own deadlines whilst ensuring a consistently high standard of work.

I want to hear from MRICS qualified cost consultants with experience in similar sectors on multi-million pound projects who are looking for career progression, who can adapt and apply themselves and who understand the importance of client relationships.

•Working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, typically JCT and NEC
•Pre and post contract knowledge
•Experience of cost forecasting and reporting, cost control, cost risk management, advising on procurement options, procurement documentation preparation, contract documentation preparation, contract administration and contract documentation.
•Someone ambitious and enthusiastic who is excited about the prospect about working for a growing force in London’s consultancy market
•A proven track record of working on major projects at all stages of a contract.
•Excellent communication skills, and a professional client-facing manner.
•An ability to work on your own initiative and to meet deadlines in order to achieve team / business goals
•IT Literate
• Good general commercial awareness
