As a Business Account Manager, your day will consist of cold calling potential clients to build relationships with businesses across France. You will discuss their energy management and how we can assist and help them using our products and services. This is an outbound telephone based role so you will need to be comfortable selling and interacting with clients over the telephone. You will need to have experience of dealing with the whole sales process from start to finish – Including the close.

*Duties and responsibilities*

The main duties and responsibilities of a Business Account Manager at The Energy Checking Company Ltd are including but not limited to;

• Develop detailed understanding of client's environment, industry sector and business priorities and respond with appropriate strategic proposition
• Knowledge of the French Energy Market and experience working with French Suppliers
• Prepare professional proposals and SLAs based on a comprehensive understanding of your client
• Determine value of proposition to the business, negotiate and close opportunities
• Project manage effectively to ensure agreed services are delivered appropriately and timely
• Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients
• Take ownership for service delivery and ensure all stakeholders are clear on deliverables
• Recommend marketing campaigns to win new clients and cross sell to existing
• Obtain client referrals, case studies and testimonials
• Anticipate problems and proactively resolve and identify and mitigate competitive threats
• Be proactive about growing knowledge of the industry and up to date legislation
• Commit to a culture of excellence and continuous

• Passionate and enthusiastic about providing service excellence to clients
• Fluent in French, both written and spoken.
• Communicates professionally, commercially and intelligently at senior level
• Proven success and drive for growing and building positive relationships in a business setting

• Experience and interest in the energy procurement sector - fixed, flex or baskets
