Role Description:
The role involves you working on week day evenings or Saturdays and Sundays to provide cover to our core clients along with our Clients customers with emergency callouts in providing an out of working hours service.

You will deal with a variety of insurance claims and liaise with customers and third parties, in order to assist in the progression of claims from start to finish. Training provided

Key Accountabilities:

· Cover emergency works for their customers

· Provide phone cover for their out of hours service

· Provide the ability for the operations department to contact people outside of the normal working day.

· Ensure claims received out of the normal working hours are on the system

Ensure that emergencies are completed within the stipulated service level agreements.
Maintain a consistent low level of complaints within the department.
Ensure that calls are answered within the stipulated service level agreements.
Ensure that all claims received out of hours are keyed on and action within the stipulated service level agreements.
Knowledge of the internal systems and their interaction in the claims process.
Prepare for personal development reviews and provide evidence of your successes.
Ask for support from your line manager where necessary in order to be able to complete objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Candidates require GCSE’s, including English and Maths.

2. Previous high level Customer Service experience

Core Competencies:

· Good customer service skills

· Ability to work to targets and deadlines

· Good IT skills with the ability to use multiple systems (Microsoft, bespoke packages)

· Complaint Handling skills

· Ability to remain focused during high volume periods

· Good communication skills (both written and oral)

· Good organisation skills

Days/Hours of Work:

Working hours will be agreed between the Company and yourself (the applicant) however, as an example; you can choose to work

8:30am – 8:30pm Saturday AND Sunday

Salary: £12,936 + pro rata (£10.50 per hour) – please note, this annual salary is based on a 12 hour working day, 2 days a week with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break.


6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm Saturday and Sunday

at £10.50 per hour

or Week day evenings 4.30pm to 6pm start to 8.30 to 11pm finish

at £8.50 per hour
