This role will involve working within a fast paced and busy environment, taking a high volume of inbound telephone calls from customers, along with making outbound warm sales calls.

Duties will include:

• Be pleasant and helpful on the telephone at all times
• Take a high volume of incoming calls, which could vary from a customer placing an order to querying an incorrect delivery to wanting a price for an item or chasing delivery of their orders
• Increase orders on all incoming calls by being aware of current promotions, upselling and mentioning products on offer
• Willing to take on ad hoc jobs when required - for example helping insert flyers in envelopes for mail shots, sticking address labels on envelopes etc
• Be assigned specific jobs over and above answering telephone, for example, chasing deliveries with our carrier, inputting data onto the system etc
• Input orders on the computer correctly
• Deal with any queries or messages promptly and accurately
• Ad hoc telesales when required by the company
• Be organised and methodical in their work

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience gained within the office environment, with the ability to communicate well with people of all levels, although full training will be given. However, you must have a passion for customer service, sales and the drive and ambition to succeed!
