Wise Employment currently have 2 night shift openings for Technical Support Agents to join a well-established Electronics Company in Swindon to assist customers with any type of service query varying from technical support to pre sales enquiries.

We are looking for individuals who have a technical background and knowledge in order to deal with the customer`s enquiry quickly and promptly. You must be IT and keyboard literate as all queries need to be logged onto the system correctly.

This is an ongoing temporary assignment due to new projects launching. You will be working varying night shifts depending on which campaign you are on based on a 37.5 hour week. Shifts will include:

11:30pm-8am Sunday night to Friday morning
8pm-3am Monday evening to Friday evening

You main duties will include:

- Talking clients through a series of actions over the telephone to help resolve issues
- Troubleshooting system and network problems as well as diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults through a pre-installed system
- Booking in repair when the problem is nothing to do with software
- Following a training process so that all help is uniform
- Take issue through to a final conclusion on a wide range of products
- Checking and updating customer and product details for customer calling
- Dealing with any administration tasks assigned such as email requests, returns labels, repair updates and call back requests

Skills required:

- Ideally have a technical background although not essential as training will be given
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems
- Excellent data entry accuracy
- General knowledge of popular software and packages
- Ability to control and calm situations through to conclusion
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner
