Our client develops and supplies bespoke systems and equipment for public sector customers.

We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to provide administrative support to the Customer Services / Help Desk team.

Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

1. To provide general administrative support to the Support & Services team as required.
2. To log and monitor all incidents allocating them as appropriate, or escalating them via the Escalation Manager. In addition, ensuring that all incidents are closed in a timely manner.
3. To create standard quotations for product sales on request.
4. To administer electronic documentation using the customer's preferred software.
5. To provide administrative support to other projects within the division.
6. To maintain the customer database to ensure that equipment and contact details are kept up to date.
7. To act as the first point of contact for all customer service calls and reported incidents (submitted either by telephone or by email).
8. To administer customer Service Level Agreements and ensure that Support Teams are aware of relevant SLA requirements when allocated to incidents.
9. To process all orders received and ensure that they are checked and sent to the appropriate departments for acceptance.
10. To support the team in conducting customer surveys.

Skills and experience sought for this position includes:

A proven experience of working in an administrative role
A good working knowledge of Excel, Word and internet based programs
Be able to demonstrate strong team-working skills
Be able to communicate at all levels
Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of accurate record-keeping
Be well organised and have a keen attention to detail

Desirable experience would be:

Experience of producing quotations or customer documentation
Experience of working with a helpdesk/ticketing system an advantage
Experience of working in a Customer Service environment an advantage
