A temporary position has arisen for a Service & Maintenance Coordinator to join our client in Preston. The position is cover and should last for approx 6 months, though there is a great chance for it to be extended for the right person.

The person

* Strong administrator
* Experience in a reactive call handling environment or helpdesk
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* A professional, positive and enthusiastic approach
* A strong customer focus
* A good team player
* Self-motivated with a 'can do attitude'
* Excellent IT Skills to include Word/Excel

The role

* First point of contact in taking and managing the volume of daily phone calls from clients, engineers and other suppliers
* Updating the internal call handling system to record new jobs or changes to existing jobs
* Supporting the service and reactive teams in such as inputting information from engineers timesheets and monitoring invoices for services provided
* Scanning and attaching documentation to the internal call handling system
* Liaising with engineers and sharing information with the team/ other departments
* Daily administration duties to support the daily requirements of the department

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with a half hour lunch.
