An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Administrator (Recruitment and Learning and Development) to join Rothamsted Research, a leading agricultural research Institute based in Harpenden on a 24 month fixed term contract.
As a key member of the HR team, your role will be to provide customer driven administration of the recruitment and Learning and Development processes. This will include involvement with all aspects of the recruitment process with responsibility for placing of advertisements, liaison with hiring managers, candidate and interview management as well as course delegate management, reporting and data management and booking of internal and external suppliers of training courses.
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate effective planning and organising, attention to detail, a high level of customer service and the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with staff at all levels throughout the organisation. The ability to work autonomously and effectively within the HR team is essential.
Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in all of the above having operated within an HR function, ideally within the recruitment and or L & D team or in a varied administrative role within HR.

This 24 month full time post has a starting salary normally in the range of £18,841 to £20,807 per annum, dependant on skills and experience. This position is ideally full time but part time applications will be considered for those able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.
