W Investment Group is seeking a Head of Sales & Marketing to drive the Sales team by making a significant contribution to the sales effort of our three Hotels, Marco Pierre Restaurant and Training Academy in line with overall financial business objectives. You will manage and increase existing accounts by personal and consistent sales service together with the development of new accounts by planned and co-ordinated sales efforts, resulting in the achievement of the groups profit plan. You will drive and co-ordinate key accounts and maximise revenue and profits within the group. As a Head of Sales & Marketing your Key Responsibilities Include: Responsible for the development and implementation of the Group sales plan alongside the Directors, Business Advisors and General Managers to encompass direct sales calls, telesales, research, appointment making and trading as well as promotional campaigns, client familiarisation visits and contract negotiation. Drive and co-ordinate all sales activity to maximise revenue from existing accounts at hotel, national and international level. To investigate new areas of business in terms of market development into new territories and market segments to quantifiable targets. To regularly meet with the Business Advisors, Wedding & Events planners and General Manager to communicate customers feedback, problems encountered, sales information, competitor knowledge, pricing strategies and any other influences that may affect the business. To review and monitor hotel pricing. To liaise with all departments necessary to maximise revenue and communicate any sales related information. The Experience & Qualifications required as Head of Sales & Marketing are: Previous experience in a similar role with a hospitality background Working knowledge of Opera Strong level of understanding concerning the local market Other Skills Required as Head of Sales & Marketing: Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong presentation skills Team player Attention to detail Self motivated Effective time management Ar W Investment Group we offer an excellent benefits package as well as great opportunities to develop and progress within the hospitality industry.
