Electronics Engineer – Automation and Sensors – Cambridgeshire An established scientific engineering company are currently going through a recruitment drive for someone to join a small team of electronics engineers and drive forward their electronics research and development of brand new scientific automation and sensors devices. The success of the company’s technologies and future will be effected heavily by the electronics engineer in this role. You will be working within an established team learning from some of the greatest minds in the scientific sector, specifically working with engineers, scientists, physicists and other electronics engineers. As you will be an important part of this team you will need to have been instrumental in the development of new industrial automation, sensors and high voltage technologies that have successfully gone to market. Due to the importance of this role it is essential that you have led the electronics design of products through the full development cycle. Although it would be useful for you to hold a degree it is a lot more important for you to have specific work experience in the hardware design of complex automation, sensors or high voltage technologies. Communication skills are essential in this company as you will need to be able to clearly discuss your ideas with team members, management and clients. So you will need to be confident explaining your ideas and have a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
