The successful candidate will have the ability to determine the factors which are key to a successful to a new model launch, establish how these factors will be monitored and prepare reaction plans for areas of concern. Main Responsibilities Lead and develop the team, taking responsibility for structured improvement themes consistent with the Business Plan and overall company direction. Facilitate feedback to the customer on project performance and status, which may include the resolution of customer responsible issues which are impeding progress or may affect the overall project outcomes. Achieve new model 'stock in plant', providing seamless integration of mass production launch. Establish metrics that monitor performance, provides detailed analysis of any gap and implementing appropriate counter measures. Budget forecasting and monitoring. Ensure compliance meets the requirements. Develop continuous improvement ideas to strengthen business performance. Skills & Experience required Must have: Excellent supervisory and people management skills and experience (team management) Conversant with automotive new model introduction Systems development experience which includes a conceptual approach to process mapping and the subsequent development of standardisation and performance monitoring Must be fully conversant with Microsoft office (Especially Excel & PowerPoint) Full UK driving license for manual transmission Desirable: CIPS Qualification Prince2 Qualification Working knowledge of HUM procurement & new model introduction process Commercial awareness which includes the methodology of 'building up' costs Benefits Salary : circa £36k - £40k depending on experience plus benefits as outlined below 37 hours per week with additional flexibility according to business requirements Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (with generous contributions) including life insurance cover 25 days annual holiday (plus statutory bank holidays) Potential to accrue additional holiday according to business requirements Child care voucher scheme New Car Lease Scheme with preferential terms (after successful completion of probation period) Private Medical Insurance for associate and immediate family (after successful completion of probation period) Premium membership to National Health & Fitness Club (after successful completion of probation period) Personal development Future potential progression opportunities and/or cross functional development based on demonstrable performance.
