We are seeking for a leading Aerodynamics Research Client of ours. Our Client is a leading UK based aerodynamics research company with an international customer base and a worldwide reputation.The company operates a world class Transonic Wind Tunnel test facility, alongside a design and manufacturing unit and a computational aerodynamics group. Our customers are amongst the leading airframe manufacturers across the globe, with the top three worldwide airframe manufacturers by revenue being regular customers. PROGRAMME MANAGER We are looking to recruit an experienced Programme Manager to manage a portfolio of complex bids and projects, sometimes working offsite, reporting to the Head of Project Management. The Programme Manager will have the drive and enthusiasm to lead project teams, motivate team members and establish excellent working relationships across multi-disciplinary groups. The successful applicant will have had substantial commercial experience in a similar role within a technical project-based environment. A proven track record for delivering projects to agreed timescales and within financial budgets together with commercial negotiation skills is required. Leading agile bid teams for delivering large, complex bids in a fast-paced environment is a key part of the role. Effective communication skills are needed for managing customers, multi-disciplinary international consortium partners and suppliers as well as internal stakeholders. They will possess expert understanding of the processes and principles for project planning and preparation and be able to coach other team members to support continuous improvement. Essential Requirements and knowledge · Hold a good university honours degree in a technical/engineering discipline and optionally, a professional qualification in project management. · Demonstrable leadership experience in a technical, project-based environment; · Have a self-disciplined approach, ensuring continuance adherence to the company standards and procedures; · Be capable of delivering a portfolio of complex projects to time, quality and cost · Possess strong leadership credentials including inter-personal, people management and influencing skills · Be capable of applying problem-solving techniques in a logical, competent and timely manner · Be a confident, self-motivated individual committed to ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved in line with company account strategy.
